Madison is a female tortoiseshell shorthair. She was born April 10, 2000. Madison is often called Maddy for short.
Madison was found in April of 2000 in an abandoned apartment with her two sisters and brother. Madison and her siblings were approximately 5 days old when they were rescued after hoping their mother would return but never did.
When Maddy was very young she fell from a high ledge and was not showing signs of movement. Maddy was rushed to the EAC and after an examination we were advised she got the wind knocked out of her but was going to be just fine. Maddy and her siblings were kept at the rescue, and they continued to grow and thrive.
When Madison and her siblings were six months old, a 9-foot-tall cat tower was built so they could run from one side of the room to the top of the tower. They spent many hours playing on their new toy.
Madison was a cat and people cat. Maddy got along with other cats and loved to be around people. She knew her name and came when she was called. Madison also loved to play with her shaky mice and when you threw them, she would bring them back to you.
Madison passed away Sept of 2016, she was 16 years old.
Donna is a female Black and White shorthair. She was born May 1, 2010. Donna is often called Don-etha as a nickname.
Donna chose her forever home by getting her family's attention. She pulled on their shirt because she knew they were the family for her.
Donna loved lap cuddles, sunbathing, chatting, soft center cat food and getting her way. She always had something on her face.
She would do anything to cuddle with you. From laying on her chest, side, back and even her head if she needed. Sometimes she would crawl slowly into your lap so you "did not see her".
Donna passed away April of 2024, she was 14 years old.
Paloma is a female red tabby shorthair. She was born in 1999. She is her family's little dove.
Paloma found her forever family in 1999 by crawling up their leg and snuggling their jacket for warmth. They both new this is where she belonged.
Paloma loves to snuggle with dogs, soft blankets and sleeping on a pillow next to you.
She shows no fear and is not afraid of anything. Deadly to any bug or moving object.
One day, Paloma singed her whiskers on an open flame candle, she looked funny when her whiskers were growing back but she still showed no fear towards anything. Never had open flame candles in the house again.
Paloma passed away November of 2017, she was 17 years old.
